How I work....
I work with a lot of very different clients who have a wide range of goals, from training for triathlons, Tough Mudders and 5k races, to recovering from injuries or chronic pain, to wanting to improve mood and energy levels, to just getting out of the house and having some fun. So whatever your goal is, I’m pretty sure I can help you.
And if I can’t, I’ll help you find the person who can!
My approach is a holistic one…
I am borderline obsessive about getting the message across that hammering your body with high impact workouts til you’re close to puking isn’t always what your body needs, and learning to listen to exactly what your body DOES need is a much better approach to reaching your goals.
I’m also pretty obsessed with getting clients to understand WHY we train certain areas of the body. We could all benefit from a strong deep core (not just a rippling six pack), stronger glutes, and a healthy upper back. I don’t just throw random workouts at my clients –everything is tailored according to your body and I will tell you WHY we’re training certain muscles in each session and make sure we’re progressing regularly, so you will see results.
My qualifications include level 3 personal training, specialised TRX, kettlebells, barre and circuit training and of course, advanced pre and postnatal exercise programming.
